Quick Overview

The KRUPS F203 Coffee Grinder is a compact and simple coffee grinder. It uses stainless steel blades to grind coffee and doesn’t have a lot of features. It’s very basic and is one of the cheapest electric coffee grinders on the market. We don’t recommend this product due to it being made with very low-quality materials and many reviews saying it didn’t last longer than a month or two. We think in the long run it would be a waste of money and not a machine you should invest in. Alternatively, we recommend the Mueller HyperGrind Precision Grinder.

Key Benefits

Stainless Steel Blades

This KRUPS coffee grinder uses sharp stainless-steel blades to grind your coffee beans.  The benefit to using stainless steel blades to grinding your coffee is that they are quite sharp. However, keep in mind that they don’t stay the same sharpness forever.

Large Capacity

The KRUPS F203 grinder is large enough that you can grind up to 3 ounces of beans which will be 12 cups of coffee. You won’t have to have multiple grind cycles to make enough for a pot of coffee.

Lid-Activated Safety Switch

It also comes with a safety feature where the blades will not spin until the lid is securely on the device.

Compact

This electric coffee grinder is quite small and is easy to store. It weighs 1.76 lbs and its dimensions as 4 x 4 x 9.13 inches.

Versatile

This coffee grinder can do more than grind coffee beans. It can also grind dry spices as well. So, if you are looking for a machine that can do both, this one may be perfect for you!

Pros & Cons

What We Like

Safety Switch

We like that it comes with a safety switch that won’t let the blades spin if the lid isn’t properly secured on.

Large Capacity

We also like that you will be able to grind up to 12 cups of coffee with this coffee grinder. The large capacity is an excellent feature.

Small Size

We like that this coffee machine is small. It is very easy to place on a small kitchen counter or store in your cabinet. It won’t take up much space at all and is perfect for small spaces.

What Can Be Improved

Quality

Its body is made out of plastic and just isn’t made out of amazing quality materials. However, this is a more basic low-end machine, most around this price point are lower quality machines.

No Preset Grinding Levels

It does not have grinding levels, you have to determine if the grind is right and stop the machine at that point. However, if you know you just need a grinder for your drip coffee machine, this one would be sufficient in terms of grinding for that size.

Audience

The KRUPS F203 Coffee Grinder is best for anyone who is looking for a cheap coffee grinder and doesn’t need any features. This is a very basic blade grinder that will grind coffee beans and that’s it.

It is not for anyone who wants to invest in a coffee machine that is going to last them a long time, for that we recommend going with a burr grinder. You can read our review on the Cuisinart? Burr grinder by clicking here.

Pricing

This KRUPS coffee grinder is one of the cheapest electric grinders on the market. It’s a low-end option and you will get what you pay for in terms of quality.

KRUPS also has other options that are upgraded from this very basic electric grinder. They also have the silent blade grinder and the ultimate silent turbo blade grinder that both go up in price, as well as in their features and size.

Final Verdict

We do not recommend the KRUPS F203 Coffee Grinder. If you are looking for an inexpensive grinder we recommend getting a manual coffee grinder. Click here to read our article on the best manual grinders. You can get a high-quality well-made manual grinder for close to the same price point as this KRUPS coffee grinder.

However, if you want an electric coffee grinder, we recommend going with a different one, like the Mueller HyperGrind Precision Grinder. The KRUPS Coffee Grinder is just too cheaply made and it will likely not last you for very long. We recommend saving your money and going with a mid-quality electric coffee grinder which will probably cost the same as having a few of these KRUPS grinders die on you in the long run.
